This talk was published in Philippine Star (Star Science), Dec. 6, 2007, under the title, “How much rain does cloud seeding make?”  See Part 1 and Part 2.

He will be presenting on August 4 (Wednesday), 11.30 am at the Klima Conference Room.  Kindly take note of the change in the time, which is earlier than what was previously posted.

Dr. Mariano Estoque is the Head of the Regional Climate Studies Project of the Manila Observatory and is a Professorial Lecturer at the Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology of the University of the Philippines.  His research interests include climatology of rainfall, mesoscale meteorology and air pollution meteorology.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geodetic Engineering from the University of the Philippines and a Ph.D. in Meteorology from the New York University.
