The “Brownbag series” at the Manila Observatory is a series of short
presentations held every Wednesday at 11.30 am-12.30pm at the observatory.  This series provides an informal venue for updates and discussions on the latest research and development on climate and environment related topics, including air quality, disaster risk management, climate change science and policy.

Dr. James Simpas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics of the Ateneo de Manila University. He is also the head of the Urban Air Quality program of the Manila Observatory.
