Ateneo League of Physicists (LeaPs) to celebrate Physics Week from 28 Jan to 5 Feb 2011

Greetings!

As the premiere physics organization in the Ateneo de Manila University, the Ateneo League of Physicists endeavors to further the appreciation of physics in the community.  This year, we introduce Physics Week, a week-long celebration of physics that is composed of a series of activities.

In light of this, we hope that you support the activities that we have in line for the event by encouraging your students to participate in the said events.  The activities that are scheduled for the week are the following:

Jan 31 Film Showing Session: How to Become Invisible with Mr. Jerry Barretto. Open to all. B 105, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Quiz Bee Finals for Ps 11, Ps 12, Ps 14, Ps 31
Feb 1 Film Showing Session: How to Teleport with Mr. Joel Tiu-Maquiling. Open to all. B 105. 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Feb 2 Film Showing Session: How to Make a Light Saber with Mr. Johann Ignacio. Open to all. B 105. 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Feb 4 Major Kindergarten Group Session: Science in the Frontlines: Solving Global Issues with Science and Technology with Mr. Jeric Macalintal and Ms. Agnette Peralta
Feb 5 The Real Physics Game for Ps 1 students
Star Gazing. Open to all. Manila Observatory. 6:00-12:00 p.m.
Weeklong Search for the Wright Design. Physics Demonstrations. Open to all.
