Two talks will be held at Manila Observatory’s Klima Conference Room on 17 February 2015, 4:30-6:00 pm:

  • “Characteristics of tropical cyclone landfall in the Philippines during the past 110 years” by Hisayuki Kubota, Ph.D. of the Department of Coupled Ocean-Atmosphere-Land Processes Research (DCOP), Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC)
  • “Tropical cyclone landfall in Japan during 1900-2014” by Rie Kumazawa, MS Science Education, Graduate School of Education, Yokohama National University
